JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute, you will have the opportunity to make a difference every day and work where the need is greatest. You can work in healthcare and social services, social psychiatry, meal services, or cleaning, and your tasks will vary depending on the area of work.

This may involve providing daily support, personal care, and activities within healthcare and social services, preparing and serving food, or keeping facilities clean and pleasant. In social psychiatry, you can support individuals with mental disabilities in their daily lives and activities.

The work is flexible and can be combined with studies or other commitments. Working hours may vary between days, evenings, weekends, and sometimes nights. For certain areas of work, such as schools and preschools, a criminal record extract is required. As a substitute, a high degree of flexibility is required, where you can be contacted for work at short notice.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a pedagogical and motivating approach and enjoy creating good relationships. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as documentation is a natural part of the job. We view it positively if you have previously worked in the area you are applying for, but it is not a requirement.

If you work with children or in short-term accommodation for children, an extract from the police register is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In connection with the interview, you will need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required under the Aliens Ordinance.
