Investigations, Analysis, and Teamwork
As a benefits investigator, you have an important mission: to help citizens ensure that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. You provide the conditions for having an overview and feeling secure in all contacts with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Contact occurs via phone and in writing. In your work, you conduct qualified investigations and then make decisions. Each individual has a unique situation that needs to be addressed based on their specific needs. As a Benefits Investigator, you handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.
When you work with insurance eligibility, you meet citizens from around the world who have come to Sweden to settle or work. You investigate and decide whether individuals meet the conditions to be socially insured in Sweden. Your investigations and decisions can therefore have significant financial implications for the individual. You apply EU legislation, convention provisions, and national legislation. In your work, you have contact with other Swedish authorities, such as the Tax Agency and the Migration Agency, as well as foreign authorities.
