Marketing Communicator at Sölvesborg Energi

Sölvesborg Energi ensures that the municipality's residents have electricity and district heating in the lines, water in the tap, and access to fiber networks, as well as ensuring that street lighting works – all to create good conditions for development in Sölvesborg: "Power with Care!"

The current marketing department consists of a marketing manager who is also an electricity trader and a part-time communicator (30%). In connection with our expansion from part-time to full-time, our ambition is to combine marketing and communication in the expanded role. We are looking for a marketing communicator for the marketing department, and you will report to the marketing manager. The reinforcement aims to increase sales in electricity trading, district heating, and fiber. We are a local player with our home base in Sölvesborg, but we also have a number of (electricity trading) customers regionally and nationally. As a marketing communicator with us, you will also work with communication and brand awareness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a marketing communicator at Sölvesborg Energi, you will drive both marketing and communication with a focus on strengthening the brand, driving sales, increasing awareness of our services, and creating clear and accessible customer communication. The role combines strategic work with brand and campaign planning with operational work in the form of content production, digital activities, and development of our channels. You will be a key person in developing the company's marketing presence and communication across all channels.

Examples of marketing tasks

  • Plan, execute, and follow up on marketing and sales campaigns for fiber, electricity trading, and district heating.
  • Produce audience-targeted content for advertisements, campaign pages, social media, and other marketing channels.
  • Be responsible for digital advertising, including SEO/SEM and audience-targeted advertising on social media.
  • Work with brand-building activities and contribute to strengthening the company's position and awareness.
  • Conduct results and audience analyses as a basis for developing future campaigns and marketing activities.

Examples of communication tasks

  • Plan and produce customer information in our digital and printed channels.
  • Be responsible for the website's content, structure, and user-friendliness.
  • Develop and publish content in the company's social media to create engagement and customer understanding.
  • Be the editor of the customer magazine and ensure that the content is relevant, clear, and follows our graphic profile.
  • Be responsible for the company's crisis communication together with management and emergency functions, including the development and updating of messages in critical situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education in marketing and/or communication and a few years of experience from similar work where you have driven projects both strategically and operationally. Experience from the energy sector is an advantage.

We want you to have experience in creating content for digital channels and familiarity with working in CMS. You have the ability to analyze target groups and follow up on the results of marketing efforts, including experience in digital advertising. We also want you to have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing, with knowledge of the language law and plain language.

You work in a structured and independent manner but find it easy to collaborate with different parts of the organization. You have the ability to make complex or technical information understandable and accessible, and you are proactive, solution-oriented, and enjoy a varied role with both strategy and production.

The position requires you to have a driver's license with at least B category.
