Vattenfall Hydropower is looking for a Lifting Technician!
In our team, we work on modernization and maintenance of all types of lifting equipment found in Vattenfall Hydropower's production facilities. This position has a flexible location in Västerbotten, Norrbotten, Jämtland, Västernorrland, or Gävleborg.
As a lifting technician, you will work with assembly, installation, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, as well as maintenance of cranes, hoists, trolleys, and lifting equipment.
Your role will also include providing advice and contributing knowledge and improvement measures regarding equipment and procedures. Safety-related issues concerning inspections, regulations, and directives are also common. Traveling to Vattenfall Hydropower's facilities in Sweden is a natural part of this job.
Administrative tasks, such as updates in maintenance systems, writing protocols, working with scheduling, managing purchases, and material orders are also part of the job.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an electrical or mechanical high school education and previous experience in industrial and machinery maintenance.
It is an advantage if you have worked with troubleshooting and reading schematics. If you have also worked with servicing lifting devices and lifting equipment, it is highly meritorious.
As a person, you are responsible and used to planning and working independently. For this job, you need to be meticulous and safety-conscious. You are confident, service-oriented, and positive. Since you will be traveling across the country and meeting many different people, it is important that you can easily create new collaborations.
The job requires you to be comfortable working at heights. You must have a B driver's license, good knowledge of Swedish, and preferably English. Working in various systems and software is a natural part of the position, so you need to have good IT skills.

Location
The position has a flexible location in Västernorrland, Jämtland, Västerbotten, Norrbotten, or Gävleborg. Please clearly state your preferred location/residence.
Travel is a natural part of the work as a Lifting Technician, where overnight stays are common.
