Assistant Nurse to Norrtälje Hospital Radiology Department

About the Position

As an assistant nurse with us in radiology, you will have varied tasks.

You will participate in patient-centered care and treatments, but also work quite a bit administratively. You will be the spider in the web, handling everything from bookings to direct contact with patients. You will be part of a knowledgeable team that values a supportive team spirit.

You will replace regular staff who are on parental leave, and an extension may be offered if needed. We offer a full-time position of 40 hours per week with comfortable daytime working hours while you are substituting.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Working closely with patients during care and treatments as you assist radiology nurses and radiologists with various examinations and interventions performed in radiology.
• Administrative tasks such as scheduling and ordering materials.
• Some reception work.
• Perform delegated tasks.
• Maintain contact with patients via phone and always be available.

About Our Offer:

For those with a full-time position, we offer a wellness allowance of 5000 SEK per year via Epassi; otherwise, the amount is adjusted according to employment level.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title.
• Have experience working with acute flows.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Experience with sterile techniques.

You have a good demeanor and an ability to see the big picture where others get stuck in details. Your ability to collaborate is strong, and you communicate well, which makes you enjoy working in a team. You are steady, work systematically, and are not afraid to take initiatives when you see that it is needed.
