OHSE Specialist – Skruf Snus AB, Sävsjö

In this key role, you will work to ensure that our work environments are safe, comply with legislation, and meet both internal and external requirements. You will have the opportunity to drive change, inspire the organization, and further develop a strong safety culture throughout the business.

About the role

As an OHSE Specialist at Skruf Snus AB, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing safety procedures and training programs according to legal requirements and internal standards.

• Conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and internal audits.

• Following up on workplace accidents and incidents with fact-based analysis and improvement suggestions.

• Creating robust systems for chemical management and change management.

• Working closely with both internal departments and external authorities.

• Acting as an expert and advisor in occupational health and safety.

You have the authority to stop unsafe work and to independently initiate safety-related projects.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety.

• Relevant education or valid certification in OHSE.

• Strong knowledge of Swedish (advanced level) and English in both spoken and written form.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish occupational health and safety legislation and standards.

• The ability to communicate and collaborate with different levels within the organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in chemical management and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) is an advantage.

• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus.
