We are now looking for 2 new part-time firefighters to the fire station in Mullsjö.
As a part-time firefighter in Mullsjö, you will be part of a strong and cohesive team that responds when people need help the most. The rescue service in Mullsjö consists of about 22 employees with standby at home. Our mission is to contribute to a safe and secure society and meet the expectations placed on a modern rescue service. We are responsible for operational interventions in the municipality and work in an environment where cooperation, commitment, and professionalism are central.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a part-time firefighter, you help create safety in the community.
You will be alerted in various acute emergencies such as fires, traffic accidents, drowning incidents, and other urgent situations where lives may be at risk. During your standby, you carry a locator and are ready to act when the alarm goes off.
During part of your standby, various exercises will be conducted according to a developed training schedule, as well as equipment maintenance and paid physical training so that you feel safe and prepared in the role.
The employment entails a fixed standby schedule with readiness around the clock every fourth week.
This requires that you have the ability to leave your regular job when the alarm comes.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- has a high school education or equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent
- understands and speaks Swedish
- holds a valid B driver's license. Furthermore, you need to be able to present a C license within 12 months from the start of employment. (We offer financial support for this)
- lives and works near the fire station, or has the opportunity for remote work so that you can arrive within the specified time during standby
- can show approval from your regular employer to leave the workplace during alarms, training, and exercises. The certificate must be presented upon request
In addition to the above, we are looking for someone who has a genuine desire to help others. You do not need to have any prior knowledge in firefighting or healthcare.

Good to know
For the position, you must be fully healthy, have good physical ability, be a competent swimmer, and be able to pass our physical tests with a satisfactory result according to the test program.
Start date is according to agreement. Selection may occur continuously during the application period.
