Security Guard Night - Deputy Group Leader

As a security guard at Avarn Security, you will have an exciting everyday life where your task is to strengthen our customers' safety and promote a safer environment.

A security guard plays a central role in maintaining safety and security in various environments. The job involves preventing and managing risks by monitoring premises, patrolling areas, and ensuring that security procedures are followed. The security guard often works closely with people and needs to be able to act calmly and professionally in both everyday situations and during incidents. The work can include everything from alarm responses and access controls to reporting deviations and cooperating with the police or other authorities. The role places high demands on responsibility, integrity, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

We are now hiring a deputy group leader for the night shift. In your role, you will act as a second-in-command to our regular group leaders and also step into the role of group leader when they are not present. Your regular placement will be in a patrolling vehicle at night. You will play an important role in making decisions together with the group management and creating a pleasant working environment for your colleagues while ensuring our delivery to customers.

The customer gives us great trust, and your work as a security guard is important. You contribute every shift to creating safety and security for the customer and society at large, as your work provides preventive protection against crime, improved fire safety, and much more. You will meet all residents of society, and it is important that you are clear, calm, and can make considered decisions. As a deputy group leader, you will also have an important role in creating a good environment for your colleagues.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we are looking for and describing, you need to meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• At least 18 years old before starting the assignment
• High school diploma
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Driver's license B

You also need to be unpunished*, drug-free, have an orderly economy, and good health and fitness to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is an advantage for these positions. Other advantageous qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments. Previous leadership training and positions are also advantageous.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and you proceed in the process but do not already have the required training (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA, the Security Industry's Occupational and Work Environment Board. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
