Just 150 meters from Linköping Central Station lies Scandic Frimurarehotellet – the hotel where tradition meets the future. Located right next to the Cathedral in one of Linköping's most beautiful buildings, our modern and relaxed hotel has roots dating back to 1912. The hotel is the largest in Östergötland and hosts everything from meetings and weddings to large banquets.

We who work here are nearly a hundred employees, and we come from all over the world, just like our guests. Being a large hotel provides excellent development opportunities for our staff.

We are now looking for a chef for Scandic Frimurarehotellet.

What does the role of chef entail?

Here, you will have a very important task at the hotel by ensuring a world-class guest experience in our food and beverage environments. Your main responsibilities include planning, preparing, and cooking food, as well as presenting it in an appealing manner. You will also support and assist the team in other areas of the hotel as needed.

Who are you?

To fit the role, you need to have a passion for food and be attentive to details and the individual needs of guests. You appreciate order and cleanliness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues, all to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. For this position, we would like you to have completed culinary training or have equivalent skills acquired in another way. Personal qualities and attitude are the most important factors for this recruitment. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey a good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

Information about the position:

• The position is a permanent full-time employment.
• We apply a probationary period.
• Your immediate supervisor will be our head chef.
• The position includes day and evening shifts during weekdays and weekends.
• Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.
