Service in the restaurant aboard the passenger ship Kind, operating on the Kinda Canal, home port in Linköping. You must be available to start working from May 11th. We are a small close-knit team working on board - everyone helps each other. And everyone in the wheel with different qualifications and skills is equally valuable. We are looking for someone who wants to work in the restaurant aboard M/S Kind, in a strongly decentralized organization. This means you must be prepared to work independently and take great responsibility for your tasks. And be ready to "give your all" to ensure our guests enjoy their time on board in all possible situations. You must also be flexible. Days on board are never the same; we work with different customer segments, each with varying demands on what we need to "deliver". Therefore, it is beneficial if you have experience in tasks where you have met many different people. If you have experience from the restaurant industry and preferably some kitchen experience, that is also valuable and a plus. On board M/S Kind, we work together as a team with various competencies and qualifications. Our guiding principle is that everyone in the crew helps each other across professional boundaries when needed. We are looking for service staff for the restaurant on board. You need at least one year of professional experience in restaurant, service, and/or sales. The tasks include serving the ship's guests, general service, customer contacts, cash handling, etc. If you also have kitchen experience, that is a plus. We work very closely with our guests, so you must enjoy social interactions in both small and large situations, and in all conceivable scenarios. The cruises/events depart and arrive at Linköping's canal district/Tullbron.
