Information about the position

Kurres Bil & Rep was founded in 1991 and has since built a strong trust with its customers through personal service and high quality. The workshop is located in Ersboda, Umeå, and is an approved car workshop affiliated with Autoexperten.

Service is offered for all car brands. The team currently consists of five people where community, freedom with responsibility, and flat decision-making paths are an obvious part of everyday life – every employee is important and works with great freedom under responsibility. To give you the best possible start, a safe and structured introduction is offered where you will get to know both the company, the working methods, and the role in a good way, with support from experienced colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of vehicle technician, you will work broadly and qualified with:

• Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Electronics and control system-related issues
• Technical analysis as well as action and solution proposals
• Service and repairs of all car brands
• Timing belts, brakes, suspension, and AC systems
• Work with modern diagnostic tools
• Corporate customers and some damage-related repairs

You plan and carry out your work with great freedom under responsibility and have close collaboration with both colleagues and customer reception. The role suits you who want to understand the whole picture – why the fault occurs, how the systems interact, and how you find the most sustainable solution.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience as a vehicle technician
• Is confident in diagnostics and technical troubleshooting
• Has a B driver's license
• Speaks and writes Swedish
• Has a clean criminal record

Certifications in AC, hybrid, or other vehicle technical further education are meritorious.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, self-driven, and thrive in an environment where competence and responsibility go hand in hand. You appreciate working in a smaller team where your voice is heard and where decision-making paths are short.

A clean extract from the criminal record is required for the position. A background check will be conducted as part of the recruitment process, and a prerequisite for employment is that the criminal record is without remarks.
