About us

The Forensic Psychiatric Unit at Skaraborg Hospital in Falköping has 33 beds distributed across three departments for individuals sentenced under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). The Forensic Psychiatric Unit has recently expanded with a new department with 9 beds, and therefore we are looking for you!

The unit currently has about 85 employees and is led by two unit managers. Here, psychiatric nurses, nurses, caregivers, doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, workshop foremen, activity pedagogues, and secretaries work.

The unit also has an outpatient team for patients who no longer require inpatient care but need close follow-up.

Responsibilities

As a nurse, you are responsible for care in close collaboration with other nurses and professionals. You are responsible for planning and coordinating for each individual patient, aiming to enhance skills to support them in achieving their long-term goals. You work in a team with experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse. Experience in psychiatric care is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is cheerful, positive, and open to seeing the individual needs of patients. Since we work transprofessionally in psychiatry to offer the best care to patients, we see that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team. You should also have an interest in working with psychiatric patients and their needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other
