Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.

The Social Administration of the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the area of disabilities. Here, good conditions are created to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service, and we have a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures are offered to the city's residents, and the offerings change based on the needs of Stockholmers and the wishes of the district administrations. The work often occurs in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business community. The Social Administration is also responsible for the city's serving and tobacco licenses and conducts supervision.

Welcome to us

Welcome to us at Eurenii Minne! The unit belongs to the Support and Protection Area of the Social Administration, City of Stockholm.

The area consists of operations that offer support and protection to children and adults who, in various ways, live in vulnerability. We are now looking for a social worker to join us at Eurenii Minne. We are a 24/7 operation located in Blackeberg, receiving families with children aged 0–18 years based on three different assignments: emergency placements, investigations, or parental support. The issues are varied and often complex. The investigations mainly concern questions related to the parents' caregiving ability, and the investigation period varies but is usually around 6–8 weeks. Parental support cases are longer placements where long-term change work is done together with the parent. Our placed families live in their own apartments with self-catering. We are a stable and committed workgroup of 16 people, including 10 social workers who work scheduled day/evening/weekend, as well as three treatment assistants who work awake nights, one unit manager, one group leader, and one administrative assistant.

We offer

We offer a developing job where you get the opportunity to work with engaged colleagues. At Eurenii Minne, we help each other and care about a good work environment. With us, you will receive leadership characterized by trust and participation, which provides space and support to take responsibility, raise ideas, and drive issues that are developing towards the goals of the operation.

To give you the best possible conditions, we offer a thorough introduction and attractive employment conditions, occupational pension, wellness allowance of 3000 SEK, and the possibility of vacation exchange.

Your role

You will work closely with the children and families' everyday lives at Eurenii Minne, in the environment where they are and follow their potential for change. You are responsible, together with colleagues and supervisors, for ensuring that the assignment is actively implemented and that the work process is communicated with clients and stakeholders. Your tasks include, among other things, observing interactions between parents and children in both environmental and structured forms. You also conduct investigative conversations with children and parents. You are responsible for documentation in the form of implementation plans, journals, care reports, investigations according to BBIC, as well as evaluation and follow-up. You also perform practical tasks that exist in an institution. You are part of a workgroup where you together contribute to a competence-developing and learning climate. In the operation, you have support and leadership from a group leader. Together with your workgroup, you receive recurring process-oriented supervision from an external supervisor. You participate in weekly meetings to discuss current issues for the operation and to gain the support of the workgroup in family work. An important part of the operation's work is focusing on the child, and together with your competent colleagues, you help each other develop and highlight dilemmas that arise in daily work.

You are curious, want to develop and learn new things to make a difference. As a person, you are stable and appreciate collaborating with colleagues but are also self-sufficient when required. The work requires cooperation with people in difficult life situations, which is why you need to have the ability to maintain an empathetic, accommodating, and problem-solving approach when meeting other people. Since the needs and circumstances of families vary depending on the situation, you need to be flexible and quickly adjust your approach and prioritize within the framework of your tasks.
