The Employment and Adult Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's labor market measures, daily activities, adult education, and issues related to higher education, such as vocational training and other post-secondary education. Our goal is to provide the residents of Botkyrka with good conditions to engage in studies, work, and employment. We are 330 employees working to enable more citizens to achieve self-sufficiency.

The position and responsibilities

Employment SoL consists of structured employment and an open meeting place. This position is aimed at the open meeting place.

We are looking for an employment supervisor for the meeting place in the unit for work and employment. The meeting place is an open operation without assistance decisions and an important part of the municipality's transition according to the new Social Services Act. The operation is aimed at adults with mental disabilities or co-occurring disorders and focuses on accessibility, participation, and a preventive approach.

As an employment supervisor, you provide a safe and welcoming meeting place where the content of the operation is shaped together with the visitors within given frameworks. You work on building relationships, collaborate with internal and external actors, and contribute to developing methods, routines, and structure as the operation grows. Documentation is included in the assignment to a tailored extent.

Your main responsibilities include:

• planning and conducting open activities based on the visitors' needs
• creating safety and building trusting relationships
• collaborating and developing networks with relevant actors
• contributing to the development of the meeting place's structure and content
• documenting according to applicable guidelines.

The work is team-based together with employment supervisors and operational leaders. If necessary, you may also support structured employment within Employment SoL.

The meeting place is under construction, which means you will have the opportunity to help shape the methods and content of the operation from the ground up. Who you are

You have an education as a social pedagogue, social worker, craft pedagogue, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with adults with mental disabilities or co-occurring disorders and are confident in a relationship-building approach.

Other requirements:

• Experience in relationship-building work in social services.
• Driver's license (B).

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in open operations without assistance decisions.
• Experience in network work and collaboration with various actors.
• Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Experience planning and conducting recovery-oriented activities.
• Experience with digital operational systems, such as LifeCare.

As an employment supervisor, you are relationship-building and confident in meeting people in various life situations. In an open operation without assistance decisions, you need to be able to create trust, build long-term relationships, and contribute to visitors feeling welcome and involved.

You are flexible and structured in your working methods. You can adapt activities based on changing needs while creating clarity and continuity in daily life. In the development phase, you contribute with initiative and stability, which is crucial for the operation to develop sustainably over time.
