Do you want to work in a pleasant workgroup where helpfulness and a good attitude towards our customers are always in focus? At Skärholmen Home Care, about 60 dedicated employees work together with three planners and three unit managers.

We strive to create security, participation, self-determination, and continuity through a motivated and engaged staff. Our unit is available 24/7 to provide the best possible support to our customers. We are a diverse group with variations in age, gender, experience, and background.

Your role

As an employee in home care, you will have a varied and content-rich job where you work closely with our elderly and disabled customers, providing them with the support they need to live at home for as long as they wish. You will work independently in the customers' homes and move around the neighborhood on foot, by bike, or by car. Your main task is to meet the customer's individual needs for care and service in their own home based on the approved assistance according to the Social Services Act.

Job responsibilities:

  • Create a caring and individualized care environment
  • Perform delegated tasks
  • Offer social support
  • Accompany customers to and from medical appointments
  • Perform service tasks such as meal preparation, dishwashing, laundry, cleaning, and shopping
  • Document care interventions in our journal system

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a professional approach characterized by a good attitude and empathy in interactions with others
  • Is attentive to our customers' needs and enhances their quality of life
  • Has good Swedish skills in speaking and writing
  • Is familiar with using smartphones, as it is an important work tool in your daily tasks

It is an advantage if:

  • You are a trained nursing assistant
  • You have a driver's license and/or can cycle for work.

Other

We make selections based on CV and a number of selection questions that you answer when applying for the position, and therefore we do not accept any personal letters.

The position involves a background check, and applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.
