The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic at the University Hospital in Linköping (US), Vrinnevisjukhuset (ViN) in Norrköping, and the Hospital in Motala (LiM) is responsible for all healthcare in the region within the ear, nose, and throat specialty.

The clinic treats patients from Östergötland but also provides specialized care to patients from the Kalmar and Jönköping regions. Our operations include surgery and outpatient care in Linköping and Norrköping, and the clinic as a whole consists of inpatient departments, outpatient clinics, hearing care clinics, an interpreting center, speech therapy, and secretarial services. The clinic employs approximately 220 staff.

The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic is part of the Sensory Center, and here at Vrinnevisjukhuset, we are responsible for highly specialized care for ear, nose, and throat healthcare within the Eastern healthcare region as well as regional healthcare. The clinic also performs outpatient surgeries and operates emergency services. Job Description

At the ear, nose, and throat clinic, daily patient visits occur within various ear specialties. As a nurse, you will primarily work as a lead nurse in an operational role responsible for daily planning and management. In addition to your role as a lead nurse, telephone advice in TeleQ, 1177, and referral management is also included. With your nursing expertise, you will contribute where needed and assist during doctor visits as required. Since the clinic receives urgent ear, nose, and throat cases, it is essential that you feel comfortable in emergency situations.

Work Group

We are a team of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, medical administrators, speech therapists, audiologists, hearing technicians, and administrators.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, and it is advantageous if you have experience in ear healthcare and/or outpatient work.

To thrive with us, we are looking for someone who enjoys working flexibly as the operations often change rapidly. Working independently as well as collaborating is a given, and you are driven. Being meticulous and structured with order and cleanliness is also a given for you. The role involves interacting with patients, relatives, colleagues, and others, which requires good listening skills and communication. It is important that you are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
