IGT in Växjö is now looking for a math-interested developer who wants to be part of the team behind the next generation of slot games.

Your Responsibilities

As a math developer, you will be responsible for the mathematical structure behind our games. You will ensure that the game's dynamics, probabilities, and statistical outcomes work both technically and regulatory. You will be part of a smaller specialist team and work closely with a colleague with similar tasks. In the projects, you will collaborate closely with project managers, game producers, graphic designers, developers, and QA to ensure that the game's mathematics, experience, and technical implementation align from idea to finished product.

In this role, you will:

• Create and implement mathematical models for slot games
• Run and analyze simulations in internal tools
• Adjust and further develop existing mathematical models
• Work with programming related to your mathematical calculations
• Ensure that the games meet regulatory requirements and certifications

This is a technically oriented role where mathematics and programming combine with an understanding of how games are actually experienced by users.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of probability theory
• Has good knowledge of basic programming, preferably C++
• Is strong in logical and analytical thinking
• Has an interest in how mathematics affects game balance and user experience

You may be at the beginning of your career or have a few years of experience; the most important thing is your problem-solving ability and technical interest. You need to be comfortable working in an international environment where English is the corporate language.
