Digital Legal is a forward-thinking organization committed to delivering excellent digital solutions to enhance our business functions and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Area Lead for the business area Compliance & Ethics and Corporate Governance to join our Digital Legal team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the digital capabilities within these business areas where business collaboration is key.

What you'll do

In this dynamic role, you will oversee and coordinate both new and ongoing initiatives with business stakeholders, ensuring that our digital capabilities are continuously improved. You will manage the backlog, prioritizing items to maximize business value, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet cross-functional needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the performance of your digital area, both functional and non-functional.
• Ensuring that Volvo Cars meets legal requirements for digital capabilities in your domain.
• Identifying bottlenecks and driving continuous improvement of existing digital capabilities.
• Leading high-level quarterly planning aligned with the digital roadmap.
• Guiding and collaborating with software engineers on business requirements and the definition of done.
• Managing cost follow-up and license agreements for applications in your area.
• Protecting the end-user experience and vocalizing discrepancies if technical solutions do not meet expectations.

Your role will also involve taking charge of metrics and KPIs for your area, ensuring that our digital capabilities are optimized for the best business value. You will be a key player in driving our digital transformation, making sure that our solutions are not only compliant but also innovative and effective.

What you'll bring

We are seeking a highly qualified individual with a university degree in a relevant field and around eight to ten years of experience leading a digital area or product. You should have at least five years of experience in the Compliance & Ethics domain, specifically with compliance risk management solutions for areas such as corruption, trade sanctions, human rights, and data privacy. Experience with supply chain due diligence processes and solutions is also required.

The ideal candidate will have a background in both project and product management, as well as experience managing a global cross-enterprise digital platform, including budget forecasting and financial reporting. You should be skilled at leading initiatives and managing senior key stakeholders, with experience in global supplier management and strategic partnerships.
