Healthcare is facing a challenge with an aging population and limited resources. Part of the solution, we believe, is to increase the use of good digital solutions, such as digital healthcare meetings, online booking, and care and treatment plans, both among citizens and employees.

About our open position
The job involves driving and leading technical issues. This means you will work with both projects and needs from line operations and, to some extent, also development together with the business from a customer, quality, and efficiency perspective. The position also involves supporting operations strategically within the IT area.

With us, you will also have the opportunity to drive and implement region-wide projects in close collaboration with the hospital's operations. The work is varied, and you will work with people from different areas at SÄS and within the region to create lasting value for the organization.

About us at IS/IT
The IS/IT unit at Södra Älvsborgs Hospital consists of 15 employees. Today, we primarily work with system management, user support, training for the largest hospital-wide systems at SÄS, and project management for IS/IT projects. IT operations are handled by another party. We see ourselves as an important service function for healthcare, and it is natural for us to contribute from a business perspective in our commitments.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who has:

• A post-secondary education in IT
• Knowledge of healthcare systems
• A background in healthcare
• Good technical knowledge in IS/IT
• Computers, tablets, phones, etc.
• Operating systems
• Networks

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience from public operations within IS/IT and digital methods
• Experience in project management
• Experience working with business development

As a person, we want you to be service-oriented, able to create engagement and participation, and be responsive to needs. Since the position involves many points of contact both within SÄS and regionally, we see it as important that you have good communication skills and are good at building networks and participating in regional groups. As an employee with us, you also need to be responsible and have a personal drive.
