Are you a licensed nurse with an interest in elderly care and a heartfelt desire to provide security and care to those who need support in their daily lives? Then you have come to the right place!

We are now looking for a licensed nurse to join our HSL team at Attendo Kapellgärdet Norra in Uppsala. The team currently consists of five nurses, a physiotherapist, and an occupational therapist. The reason we are recruiting now is that one of our five nurses is moving on to another internal assignment within our organization, and we need a new competent colleague to replace her.

Attendo Kapellgärdet Norra is a facility with 99 apartments, focusing on dementia and nursing care.

About the role As a nurse with us, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to improve the quality of life for the residents, while also making assessments and decisions about actions in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. The transition to Close Care means that more and more specialized healthcare interventions are taking place at the residence. This offers you a variety of stimulating and developing tasks.

You will have a leading role and work closely with the team leader in the department, and you will have significant opportunities to influence the operations as you sit on the management team.

As a nurse within Attendo, you are important, and your competence is highly valued. The work is independent, while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nursing networks in Uppsala. You are part of the team that works to empower individuals.

Main responsibilities

• Medication management

• Work in national quality registers

• Supervision of nursing staff

• Nursing responsibility for patients

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy mentoring and delegating nursing staff in health and medical tasks and are motivated by creating high-quality care for those who live with us, together with your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse

• At least three years of professional experience, preferably in elderly care

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you also have

• Training in geriatrics

• District nurse training

• Experience from working in private care services

• Experience in supervision
