Temporary Position at Värmlandstrafik Customer Center at Karlstad Bus Station

We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of our team at Karlstad bus station and work with world-class customer service!

Your Workplace

We are currently in need of a temporary worker who can work throughout the summer period and also extra during peak times and in case of absence of regular staff, sometimes with short notice.

The workplace is Värmlandstrafik's customer center at Karlstad bus station. Scheduled working hours are varied and follow the customer center's opening hours. The number of working hours after training can vary from 0-100% depending on how the peak times and absences look.

To provide our customers with the best service, there is a training period of about 6-8 weeks starting in April. The training period is full-time and you need to be available at 100%.

Your Responsibilities

The position involves working with:

• Ticket sales and customer service at the customer center.
• Traffic information and customer service via phone.
• Communication with our customers on social media.
• Lost property management.
• Assistance service at the bus station and railway station.
• Hosting at the bus station, both indoors and outdoors.
• General daily checks of the internal and external environment.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of Swedish and English and can express themselves well in both speech and writing. You also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable qualifications include:

• Knowledge of other languages.
• Good knowledge of Värmland's geography.
• Experience in customer service.

As a person, you are service-oriented and accommodating in your approach, you have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. You are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You are also calm, stable, and controlled even in stressful situations, and you are creative and come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues.
