About the position

As a Project Engineer, you will be an important part of several exciting projects at our client. You will work closely with an experienced lead project manager and contribute to planning, reporting, and coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to develop within project management and gain insight into complex technical environments.

This is initially a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for our client. Read more about our consulting offer.

Responsibilities

The role involves supporting project management in various phases, from planning and documentation to coordination and technical discussions, focusing on ensuring smooth processes and successful deliveries within industrial projects.

  • Establish and review reports and other project documentation.
  • Assist in planning and follow-up of project activities.
  • Coordinate meetings and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
  • In the long term, participate in technical discussions and contribute insights.
  • Support the commissioning process of new facilities.
  • Participate in projects related to emission control.

We are looking for someone who

  • Holds a relevant engineering degree, preferably in energy or mechanical engineering.
  • Has a strong interest and understanding of technology and industrial processes.
  • Has basic knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project.

It is a merit if you have

  • A couple of years of work experience, preferably from industry.
  • Experience from process industry, water treatment plants, or wastewater treatment plants.
  • The ability to effectively communicate complex information.
