Business Manager at XCOLL

Do you want to be a key player in a growth journey and drive business development, leadership, and streamline sales processes? XCOLL is looking for a Business Manager with the ability to identify and create business opportunities, lead and manage staff, and optimize sales strategies.

ABOUT THE POSITION

XCOLL is a consulting company founded in 2017 with the aim of meeting market needs in PLM/PDM management and strategy. Along the way, our team has expanded in the area of software development and IT project management. Our focus is to deliver sustainable solutions to increase value for our customers in the automotive, telematics, and similar industries. We are currently a team of 11 people who work in some capacity within PLM/PDM or IT.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Business Manager at XCOLL, you will be responsible for driving key areas within the business, focusing on networking, sales, and leadership. You will work closely with management to create and implement business strategies, develop strong customer relationships, and lead a talented team of IT/PLM consultants. Your role will be central to identifying new business opportunities, managing sales cycles, and ensuring the success of ongoing projects.

The role is divided into several key areas: Business development and sales leadership, Consulting leadership and support, Networking and relationship building, and responsibility for the sales process.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and growth
  • Identifying new business opportunities within the IT and PLM sectors
  • Leading the sales process, from initial contact to final contract negotiation and closure
  • Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of consultants
  • Utilizing your professional network to establish new business and promote long-term relationships
  • Participating in trade shows and industry events to expose XCOLL to new industries and business opportunities
  • Regularly reporting on sales progress, providing insights on market conditions, customer feedback, and team performance to the company's management

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has at least 4 years of experience in value-based sales with budget responsibility in a role such as Business Manager, Account Manager, or similar. Through your experience, you have also gained skills in customer interactions where you act with great sensitivity to the customer's needs and can turn challenges into profitable and effective solutions. You also have:

  • A network and established contacts within the IT and/or PLM sector
  • Experience in leading and coaching staff, such as IT/technical consultants
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Work experience in the automotive industry and previous contacts/network within the industry
  • A business-oriented or technical post-secondary education from a college or university
