Your Responsibilities

Within Umeå Municipality, you will work as a nurse with health and medical care interventions, manage medications, document, make assessments, and guide other staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that the medical interventions function well for our care recipients and coordinate contacts with doctors and other professionals within primary care and hospitals.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse; previous experience is desirable but not a requirement.

As a nurse in the municipality, you and your nursing colleagues have the highest medical competence. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable taking responsibility, have good initiative, and contribute to effective communication in collaboration with other professionals. Of course, you have a good and respectful approach when interacting with care recipients and their relatives. It is an advantage if you have specialized training in geriatrics or district nursing.

The job requires you to have a B driver's license. Working hours are scheduled during the day with occasional weekend shifts every sixth weekend.

There may be pets and smokers in the workplace, so you should not be allergic. Transfers may occur, but aids are available.
