Rasta Värnamo is a facility that is part of the well-known Rasta chain with 30 meeting places across Sweden where we operate restaurant, shop & hotel services. Here at Rasta Värnamo, we have a restaurant focused on Swedish home cooking as well as a hotel.

We are currently looking for a Restaurant Assistant who will also help as a Kitchen Assistant, who is at least 20 years old (as you need to be responsible for serving), is passionate about the restaurant industry, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.

You will be an important part of the team and ensure that our guests have a pleasant experience. You will work in a varied and service-oriented environment where you meet guests, handle food and drinks, and contribute to a clean and pleasant restaurant.

The job involves a lot of contact with people, so social skills are important.

• The job includes serving the dish of the day, light preparation of our à la carte, cashier duties, and various kitchen tasks such as preparing ingredients, salad preparation, etc.

• There are also many secondary tasks associated with a restaurant such as cleaning and dishwashing, etc.

• You are quality-conscious, organized, flexible, and like to keep your surroundings clean and tidy.

• Stress resilience - The restaurant environment can be hectic, especially during peak hours.

• Basic cash handling experience with cash registers and payment processing is an advantage.

• Previous experience in restaurants and fast food is a significant advantage.

Employment type: Permanent or fixed-term employment

Employment rate: 80-100% Working hours: Varying hours, including weekends and evenings. Salary: According to collective agreement. Start date: By agreement.
