At the Cardiology/HIA department, you will work in a team with nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and physiotherapists and occupational therapists. The department focuses on heart diseases such as angina, heart attack, heart failure, arrhythmias, postoperative care, and other patients in need of heart monitoring.

The Cardiology/HIA department has a high patient flow, and the average length of stay is relatively short (but varies as different diagnoses require different lengths of stay). No two days are alike! We offer a stimulating and developing workplace with good teamwork focused on the patient.

We are now looking for nursing assistants/care assistants for the Cardiology/HIA department. The position is a full-time temporary position for the summer of 2026, from June 1, 2026, to August 30, 2026.

Job Responsibilities

The work as a nursing assistant in the Cardiology department involves qualified care of acutely ill patients. The work on the department includes:

  • General and specific cardiological care
  • Sample collection
  • ECG
  • Documentation
  • Taking and evaluating vital parameters

Additional InformationQualifications

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a complete nursing assistant education, or is a nursing or medical student who has completed the corresponding semester
  • Has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

  • Have adequate knowledge in sample collection (especially venipuncture) and vital parameters
  • Have experience working as a nursing assistant in emergency care and/or cardiology
  • Have further education in emergency care
