About Villa Hovås Villa Hovås is a residence for people with cognitive impairment, housing 51 individuals across 3 floors. The residence is located in Nya Hovås and is easily accessible from both Gothenburg and Kungsbacka. We have close proximity to public transport, shops, and nature.

• We are a dementia-certified residence, meaning that everyone who works here is trained in dementia and care through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. • We apply a needs-based wish schedule, which means that you as an employee can influence your own working hours based on needs and preferences. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time. • We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg, which means that a team of young people aged 14-18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the lives of our residents. • You will have a group leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. • We work with animals in care and regularly have visits from therapy dogs.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important! Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their way of life and habits. You see each person and interpret their needs. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge We expect you to be a trained nursing assistant with talent and drive in your profession. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is required, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important.
