About our job opening

At the diabetes and endocrinology clinic, we work with patients with type 1 diabetes and complex cases of type 2 diabetes.

We also have patients with endocrine diseases such as adrenal disorders, pituitary diseases, and sex hormone-producing organs, or rare hereditary diseases or deficiencies affecting hormone production and metabolism. At the clinic, doctors, nurses, and medical foot care therapists work together.

We are now looking for a nurse who, with competence and interest in these patient groups, wants to become part of our clinic and develop care together with the rest of the clinic staff. As a nurse, you will be responsible for diabetes and endocrine patients alongside doctors, which includes tasks such as follow-ups, checks, advice to patients and relatives, endocrine burdens, testing of aids, support for ward staff, etc.

We constantly strive to develop and improve the clinic's work through person-centered care, maintaining high quality, and also developing the clinic's working methods so that we can meet the needs of patients now and in the future. We are looking for someone who, with engagement and innovative thinking, wants to help drive the development of the clinic forward, for example, with the support of digitalized working methods. You enjoy working and supporting patients based on their needs, and it is important that you can easily collaborate with others.

The position is a temporary contract expected to last from 2026-05-01 to 2027-01-01, with working hours scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

About us

Within the medical area (VO) medicine, about 450 employees work across three sections. The three sections offer a wide range of internal medical specialties. Our clinic belongs to the medicine section and operates in both Borås and Skene.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a Swedish nursing license and experience in the profession, preferably with further education in diabetes. It is an advantage if you have experience working with diabetes and endocrine patients. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where good collaboration skills are a requirement, as well as the ability to work independently and take initiative.
