We are looking for someone who wants to work as a nursing assistant at Granlidens Care and Nursing Home in Southwestern Gothenburg. This recruitment concerns replacements and an increase in the number of employees. We are seeking new colleagues for both dementia and somatic care.

In your work, you start from the healthy aspects of the tenant and utilize the individual's resources. You support the tenant in formulating their needs and wishes. You also motivate and stimulate the tenant based on their individual circumstances in their own home, which is part of the care and nursing home.

Your tasks include personal care, support around meals, encouragement and support in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives and other actors. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed personnel. When you work with us, you are responsible for quality-assured care and support.

Granlidens Care and Nursing Home has a unique location in Hovås with views over both a golf course and the sea. The surroundings are green and it is a quiet area. There are good communication opportunities via public transport. We offer accommodation for general care and support and for tenants with dementia. In total, there are 73 apartments. At Granliden, we have smaller units with 12-13 apartments and we also offer the possibility of cohabitation.

About You

Requirements:

You are a trained nursing assistant and can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate for protected professional title or can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant at the introduction of the new regulations.
You have previous experience in care and support work.
You have good computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills both orally and in writing to communicate effectively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

You have experience working with people with dementia.
You have further education in care and support.
