About us

Regionhälsan has been operating a service for pregnant and recently delivered women since spring 2022, offering appointments on short notice.

The reception receives patients who can be treated in outpatient care, where hospital resources are not required. The operation is run in close collaboration with obstetrics at SU, where operational cooperation between inpatient and outpatient care for this patient group is a necessary and important part.

The operation is co-located with Masthugget gynecology and obstetrics reception, which is a large and high-quality reception in new, fresh premises at Masthuggstorget. We offer ongoing professional development in the form of internships at different levels of care so that our employees are knowledgeable throughout the entire care chain.

About the job

As a midwife, you will receive pregnant and recently delivered women who require quick care but do not need hospital treatment. Patients are triaged and booked by a coordinator in the team. In addition to reception work, common tasks include examinations such as CTG and telephone coordination. You will work closely with your colleagues on-site as well as with other staff in the care chain. The position can be combined with work at another reception.

About you

We are looking for a licensed midwife with some experience from midwifery reception and/or delivery care, preferably both.

As a person, you are flexible and have a good ability to collaborate. Since the role involves close cooperation between SU and outpatient care, it is important that you enjoy and are interested in this work. We also value that you are innovative, focus on the needs of the patient, and want to help further develop the reception.

Conditions

The position is located at the reception for pregnant and recently delivered women. There is also the possibility to combine the position with work in, for example, midwifery reception or delivery care.

Work is primarily during the day, but there is also an evening shift once a week.
