What does the role of Shift Leader Restaurant entail?

As someone working in our restaurant, you are the first person guests meet, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and guests' needs. You have a passionate interest in food and beverages and appreciate order and cleanliness, both in your own work and your colleagues'. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and to coach/lead the team. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for hosting for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operations, you have an overall view of the guest flow in the restaurant and, together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that the operations run smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and distribute the work and manage staffing during your shift. If necessary, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel, and you will also relieve the Restaurant Manager of certain administrative tasks.

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we believe you have at least three years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and the willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and a sales drive. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit into the role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

Information about the position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with a 6-month probationary period.

The position mainly takes place in the evenings.
