As part of the reception team for Stora Hotellet and U&Me, you have a social and outgoing role that always focuses on delivering first-class service in your daily work. You primarily work with the operation of the reception, handling check-ins and check-outs, welcoming guests, addressing their requests and problems, and managing administrative tasks such as bookings, emails, and invoicing.

Qualifications We are looking for someone with a big smile, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to the magic that occurs in a successful guest meeting. You have a broad understanding of how warm hospitality and personal interaction can elevate the guest experience to a whole new level and always prioritize the guest over yourself. We seek individuals who stand out with their excellent service and seize every opportunity to convey that little extra to our guests. You are also;

  • Stress-resistant, solution-focused, and attentive to the guest's needs

  • Enjoy working at a varied pace

  • Work well in a team

  • Fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge of English spoken/written

Responsibilities

  • World-class guest reception

  • Striving to deliver hospitality beyond the ordinary in daily work.

  • Daily operation of the reception, e.g., check-ins and check-outs, bookings, and invoicing.

  • Actively recruit members for Best Western Rewards.

  • Drive upselling such as room upgrades and additional services.

Meritorious

Familiarity with the booking systems Oracle Hospitality Opera Cloud PMS

Post-secondary education in hotel/tourism/restaurant/service management

Experience working as a hotel receptionist or similar role with a focus on service and hospitality

Experience working in a Best Western hotel

Knowledge of Umeå as a tourist destination

Language

The position is a seasonal employment/extra as needed, working hours and start date according to agreement. The application deadline is March 20, we interview continuously so the position may be filled before the application deadline.
