About Us
Welcome to Skoga - a nursing home beautifully located in Huvudsta with a view over Ulvsundasjön.
Skoga is operated by the municipality in Solna City. Here, there are 100 residents and about 120 employees. We have a diverse staff group with a variety of ethnicities and ages, who are passionate about what we do and take great pride in delivering quality work.

Our profile is garden, nature, and outdoor activities, and we care about providing a varied everyday life for our residents with both physical and social activities such as celebrating holidays, film screenings, garden café, and exercise.
We have units for residents with high care needs and for residents with dementia. We also have some short-term placements and respite care.

What Does the Job Involve?
As a nursing assistant at Skoga Senior Center, your mission is to work with your colleagues to create a safe environment for the residents. You will provide good care and together with the residents plan and carry out activities and outdoor activities, for example in our beautiful garden, with the goal of ensuring that the residents have a meaningful everyday life.
Your tasks include:
- Contact responsibility: follow and implement measures in the residents' care plan.
- Offer activities/social interaction that provides a meaningful everyday life, go for walks.
- Documentation in social journal (Life Care).
- Service tasks such as laundry, cleaning, serving food, baking, and other practical tasks.
- Perform medical interventions as delegated and collaborate with the responsible nurse and paramedic.
The work is scheduled for both day and evening shifts, and weekend work is included in the position.
Who Are We Looking For?
Qualifications:
- Nursing assistant education (or ongoing education in another licensed healthcare profession) and/or experience working in elderly care.
- Good knowledge of care and nursing work.
- Good digital skills at a level required for these tasks.
- Experience with social documentation.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- an approved protected professional title as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
- knowledge of BPSD.
- Welfare knowledge.
The assignment requires that you are a secure and empathetic person who is willing to take initiative. To succeed, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and are flexible. You are a person who considers the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and can plan and organize your work effectively.
More Information About the Application
The position is a temporary employment over the summer with a start date to be agreed upon. There may be an opportunity for extension after the summer. We welcome you to submit your application by March 15.
