We are now looking for a cheerful, competent, and dedicated childcare worker who wants to join our staff at Föräldrakooperativet Kulan for a parental leave substitute. The position is 80% and the substitute lasts until June.

As we are a parent cooperative, you will work alongside friendly, dedicated colleagues, a wonderful group of 24 children aged 1-5, and engaged parents.

We are a small-scale operation that values the well-being of our employees.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is cheerful, positive, and has a genuine interest in working with children. You will primarily work with our younger children. We expect you to have experience as a childcare worker and to feel secure in your professional role.

Since the role of a childcare worker involves many interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues, we see that you have a positive view of people and good collaboration skills, are present, and self-driven. You should be attentive and able to prioritize and adapt your working methods according to the needs of the operation.

The preschool curriculum, along with our own guiding documents, forms the basis of our operations. We continuously work to combine children's free play with planned activities such as language, creativity, and movement. Children's interests and wishes guide our thematic directions.

The staff consists of a principal, two preschool teachers, a resource person, three childcare workers, and an in-house chef.

We operate in spacious premises with access to a large yard near good transport links and several parks.

Our chef prepares all meals from scratch with extra love for flavorful vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
