About the job

You will work as a Data Engineer in a team within one of the value streams that the office in Sundbyberg participates in. In your role, you will have the opportunity for significant engagement and many points of contact. You will also have the chance to become proficient in leading data warehouse technology, both broadly and deeply. We work based on an agile approach with SAFe as our foundation.

A data warehouse handles data from multiple systems, integrating, adapting, and storing data for further analysis. Development occurs in close collaboration with our users who will use the information for analyses, reports, selections, or other visualizations. For 20 years, we have developed a traditional data warehouse, but we have now begun a journey towards a logical data warehouse. The value stream also works with advanced data analysis and artificial intelligence, an area that is growing.

Our existing technical environment primarily consists of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Oracle databases, as well as the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). We work with tools and programming languages such as Informatica PowerCenter, Cognos, Qlik, and SQL. For our logical data warehouse, we use Denodo.

We are expanding our application development in Visby and are looking for someone who is engaged, curious, and wants to take the opportunity to learn more about data warehousing, analysis, and BI (Business Intelligence).

The IT department of the Swedish Tax Agency actively works to promote an inclusive workplace characterized by equality and diversity, where all employees have equal opportunities to contribute and develop.
