System Administrator for HR Support at Region Gotland
In Region Gotland, you can develop and grow, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all stages of life. We make each other better.
HR Support
The HR department consists of an HR director, business developers, negotiation managers, HR strategists, and HR communicators.
And two units: HR support and HR payroll.
In the HR support unit, we currently have about 20 employees, including HR specialists, recruiters, HR administrators, system administrators, and system managers.
Our mission is to provide managers within Region Gotland with professional, consultative support in HR matters and to contribute with operationally relevant and qualitative HR support.
We also work on the development and improvement of the HR organization's processes and actively participate in prioritized development and change projects.
Region Gotland values a sustainable working method that creates conditions for engagement. One step in this work is to offer a more flexible view of where the work is performed. Our basic principle is a flexible workplace where employees can work both from home and in the office – always with the organization's mission and needs in focus.
Your Responsibilities
As a system administrator with us, you will be responsible for the operation, development, and support of our competence portal and our work environment system. You will work closely with colleagues in HR and other functions and coordinate development issues to ensure efficient processes, high quality, and great user benefit.
The role combines individual responsibility with shared responsibility alongside a colleague.
Competence Portal – Shared Responsibility (with a colleague)
Together, you will be responsible for the management and further development of the competence portal, where processes are divided between you. In the portal, we manage, among other things:
- introduction
- comprehensive course catalog for Region Gotland
- creation of e-learning
- competence model for professional groups
- employee and salary discussions
Work Environment System – Primary Responsibility
You have primary responsibility for our work environment system, which consists of four modules:
- sick leave, rehabilitation, and work adaptation
- labor law individual cases
- systematic work environment management
- occupational injury, risk, and incidents
You are responsible for the operation and further development of the systems, as well as for ongoing dialogue with external suppliers. You follow up on contracts and ensure that costs and deliveries meet agreements and initiate actions in case of deviations. You participate in procurements and purchases from both a user and system perspective.
You drive development initiatives both independently and together with other functions, focusing on improved working methods, functionality, and user experience. You plan and conduct training in the systems and are an important operational support for managers and HR. You handle incoming cases via system mailboxes directed towards the organization.
Who Are You?
You have documented experience in system management and/or system administration and hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent relevant work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
It is advantageous if you have experience with systems such as Grade or Miljödata. We also consider it advantageous if you have previously worked with HR systems, work environment processes, or have been involved in system procurement.
You find it easy to familiarize yourself with new systems and are used to independently driving development work; you coordinate development issues regarding the systems you manage. You are analytical, strategic, and can plan and prioritize your work effectively. You are proactive and often come up with new ideas and approaches.
You build good relationships, collaborate naturally, and are happy to share knowledge. You can express yourself pedagogically and articulately, both verbally and in writing. The role involves a support function, so you enjoy working service-oriented and preferably have experience in training and informing colleagues. Personal suitability is of great importance to us.
You have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
