Do you want to be the latest addition to our IT department and contribute to providing our internal users with the best possible support? We are now looking for two dedicated technicians who will be a primary contact point for the corporation.

About the role

As a Workplace/Helpdesk Technician, you will work closely with users and be responsible for providing support and managing client environments. You will be an important part of our team that ensures stable and secure IT solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Management of clients (Windows, iOS, Android)
• Administration of MDM solutions
• Support for Office suite and printers
• First line support
• Incident management according to ITIL
• Establishing and maintaining documentation that facilitates user support

Your role also includes:

• Ensuring user-friendly IT support and a security level that meets our goals and regulations
• Setting internal requirements for documentation and self-help articles
• Documenting solutions and procedures and participating in the rollout of new client solutions
• Reporting status and improvements to the IT manager

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Good knowledge of Windows, iOS, and Android
• The ability to troubleshoot at the client level
• Good service skills and communication skills in both spoken and written form.
• A strong IT security mindset

Experience in similar tasks is an advantage.

• Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period
• Start date according to agreement
• Languages: Swedish and English

At Destination Gotland, we are responsible for one of Sweden's most important routes – the sea route between Gotland and the mainland. Our fast ferries create opportunities for both passengers and freight traffic to travel efficiently between Gotland and the mainland, on the routes Visby – Nynäshamn or Visby – Oskarshamn.

We have operated the Gotland traffic since 1998 and are proud of the trust. Formally, the assignment comes from the Transport Administration, but in many ways, the assignment is also from the Gotland community. We see it as our task to contribute to the development of Gotland by always leading the way and creating opportunities for everyone who wants to travel to and from our island.
