The Role of a Dental Nurse

Working as a dental nurse means being able to anticipate needs and stay one step ahead in a treatment situation. You will be an invaluable resource in the team that together cares for and treats patients at the clinic, and you will encounter patients of all ages and backgrounds in your daily work.

In addition to being the dentist's right hand, you also have responsibilities and tasks that you manage independently, both clinical and/or administrative. Work in reception and sterilization may occur. Since the mission of Public Dental Care is to be available for all residents of the county, you will meet patients of all ages and backgrounds in your daily work. In other words, you will have great use of your entire professional competence.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained dental nurse with an interest in both pediatric and adult dental care. It is important to us that you are engaged, driven to make others' lives a little better, and always prioritize the patient's best interest. You should be able to work both in a team with a dentist or dental hygienist and independently with your own patients. We prefer that you have previous experience working with the T4 journal system. You also have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

As a person, you are secure and stable and maintain calm even in stressful situations. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and adapt your message well according to the situation and the recipient. Personal suitability is highly valued.
