The Role of the Nurse

As a nurse, you will be an important part of our multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors to provide each patient with the best conditions to achieve their goals. You will work with:

• Medical care of patients in rehabilitation
• Handling medical technology equipment and administering medications
• Responsible for nursing issues in teamwork
• Coordination and planning of care interventions
• Support for patients and relatives in their rehabilitation journey
• Documentation and follow-up of care plans

Your Future Workplace

The Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic is a modern workplace focused on collaboration and learning. We work in teams with different professional roles to provide the best possible care and support to patients in need of rehabilitation. Our largest diagnostic groups are neurological injuries and diseases, primarily spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries, but we also work with other patient groups such as amputations and critical illness. Here you will have the opportunity to follow the patient's development over time and see how the interventions make a difference. We meet patients from 18 years and older, who are in need of team-based rehabilitation interventions.

With us, you have the opportunity for longer patient contact, good continuity, and you will follow the patient's progress in their return to life based on the changed conditions. In the care department, the work is about rehabilitative nursing where you support and motivate the patient towards increased independence. You collaborate with colleagues in an engaged team and have the opportunity to follow the patient's development over time. Our focus is on training, nursing, and returning to everyday life.

The operation is regional and exists in Jönköping, Nässjö, and Värnamo. Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or graduating in June 2026. We would like you to have an interest in rehabilitation and a holistic view of the patient. For us, teamwork is one of the cornerstones, and we therefore hope that collaboration is something you enjoy in your work. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

To have the best possible summer planning, we look positively on you who want to work full-time, can work 8 weeks or at least 4 consecutive weeks during the summer. Introduction will take place in addition to these weeks.
