The Technical and Community Service Administration carries out essential community work every day, such as maintaining, managing, and developing streets, parks, properties, and sports facilities, cleaning, cooking, collecting garbage, delivering water, and treating sewage. We also help Motala municipality grow sustainably with a holistic perspective and provide conditions for doing things right in a simple and legally secure manner.

The Operations area is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all municipal assets, meaning that all maintenance measures are planned according to the needs and the budget allocated. The Operations area is also responsible for emergency interventions as needed to ensure that the facilities function on a daily basis. This responsibility also includes cleaning in all municipal premises.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a stock worker with an administrative focus for the Outdoor Environment unit. In the Outdoor Environment, we take care of parks and streets, exercise tracks and ice facilities, repair the municipality's cars and machines, and manage the logistics of the municipality's stock operations. This position is based in the stockroom, but tasks in other operational areas may occur. The stockroom orders, provides, and distributes materials for the construction and maintenance of water and sewage lines, streets, and parks. The work is largely administrative warehouse work, involving rental and purchasing of materials, contract follow-up, inventory, and customer reception. You will be part of a well-functioning team that delivers service to our customers. As a person, you are very structured and meticulous. The workdays vary, so you must be flexible and have a high service level and good customer interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who preferably has experience working in a stockroom or warehouse and is comfortable handling common tasks such as goods reception, registration, and delivery. You have a B driver's license for manual transmission. A valid forklift license A+B and experience in loading and unloading with a forklift are meritorious.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and work effortlessly in the most common Office programs. It is an advantage if you hold a C driver's license, preferably in combination with YKB and crane operator certification.

As a person, you are structured and work according to a clear process where you plan, organize, and complete your tasks with good quality and within set deadlines. You have a collaborative approach and contribute to good relationships by being unpretentious and solution-oriented in your interactions with others. Furthermore, you have good problem-solving skills and can quickly identify and handle the challenges that arise in daily work.

The position is located at Delfinvägen 3 in Motala.

On-call duty during summer/winter may be included in the position.
