As the captain of M/S Svanö, you are responsible for navigating and maneuvering the vessel safely, as well as for the passengers and crew. We operate the route Arkösund – Tyrislöt – Harstena every day of the week during the season.

The position offers the opportunity to work in one of Sweden's most genuine archipelago environments.

You will work on a classic archipelago line in the Sankt Anna archipelago with close contact with guests. The daily trip is approximately 2.5 hours each way, resulting in a total working time of about 7 hours per day. During the peak season, there is also an evening trip on Saturdays.

The traffic runs on fixed routes, making the position easy to adapt to even for new captains.

M/S Svanö is 37 gross tons, about 18 meters long, and accommodates up to 63 passengers. As a captain on a smaller archipelago boat, you will have a broad responsibility and be an important part of the guest experience on board.

You need to meet the medical certificate requirements for seafarers.

Employment is from the week of Midsummer until the end of August.

It is an advantage if you live in Arkösund or the surrounding area and can commute to the workplace daily.

The position is suitable for both newly graduated and more experienced captains. We are also interested in contacting local captains who can step in as needed during the season.
