Bjästagården is looking for dedicated staff

Bjästagården is a pleasant care and nursing home where dedicated teams work daily with the ambition to provide residents with the best possible care.

We are now looking for more engaged employees for permanent weekend shifts with a working degree of 40-60%. Permanent weekend means that working hours are scheduled Friday-Sunday and Saturday-Monday, during the day and evening.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our residents. We work health-promoting with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that everyone living with us has the opportunity to live life, the whole life.

Participation, development, and community are key words for us, where continuous improvements create conditions for good quality.

Job responsibilities include personal care, case management tasks, and social and physical activities together with our residents.

We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating a good quality of life and a good environment for our residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or have other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We prefer that you have further education in elderly care and/or dementia. Experience working in care and nursing is an advantage.

It is important that you enjoy and thrive in working with people and that you are flexible and open to new ideas and ways of working.

For the job, sufficient knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is required to communicate with users, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.

A valid driver's license, category B, is an advantage.

During the interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Approved documents are passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Tax Agency, or other ID documents that strengthen citizenship.

We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sámi varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are placed in security class, so a security check may take place. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
