The Day Care in Örnsköldsvik belongs to the local healthcare area Norr.

At the day care, we provide outpatient treatments for various patient groups within oncology, hematology, gynecology, neurology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, and lung patients.

At the Day Care, 1 nursing assistant works together with nurses in the day care and hematology clinic. During the summer of 2026, we aim to expand to 2 nursing assistants or care assistants, and therefore we are now looking for you who want to be part of our team. The position is Monday to Friday. The introduction will take place in the first week of work under the guidance of the nursing assistant working at the Day Care.

As part of our team, you play a significant role and help make everyday life run smoothly. Thanks to your support, the treatment nurses can focus entirely on the medical aspects of the treatments at the day care.

The positions as nursing assistant/care assistant are summer temporary full-time positions with start date according to agreement.

• Keep beds and equipment clean
• Order supplies
• Unpack supplies
• Restock materials in, for example, the sampling carts
• Accompany patients to the restroom/examinations
• Possibly assist with Piccline placement
• Empty trash
• Sample collection

We are looking for someone who

• Has a full nursing assistant education, or care assistant (studying to become a doctor or nurse and has completed term 4)
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you

• Have experience working as a nursing assistant
• Have work experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital
• Have additional language skills
