Our Operations

Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy, with approximately 100 employees, constitutes the hospital pharmacy function of Uppsala University Hospital and consists of the departments of Pharmaceutical Supply, Pharmaceutical Preparation, Department Pharmacy, and Clinical Pharmacy. Within the Clinical Pharmacy department, about 30 clinical pharmacists currently work, located at Uppsala University Hospital, the Hospital in Enköping, and the Primary Care Department in Ulleråker.

Your Mission

You will be employed within Clinical Pharmacy with placement in a care department at Uppsala University Hospital, the Hospital in Enköping, or the Primary Care Department in Ulleråker. Your main tasks will be to conduct medication reviews and to be a competence support for doctors and other healthcare staff. You will work for increased patient safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness in the field of pharmaceuticals – in multidisciplinary teams and always with the patient at the center.

Your Qualifications

The requirement for eligibility is that you are a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician with a master's degree. Additionally, you should have completed basic courses in clinical pharmacy. Experience in clinical work or a master's degree in clinical pharmacy is an advantage. Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing are required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and ability to collaborate.

You enjoy working together with other people, are attentive, and strive to deliver solutions. In your interactions, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating, even under high workloads.
