The Care and Elderly Administration aims to provide equal, gender-equal, and equivalent care and support to the residents of Borås City. With the individual in focus, we work with health-promoting, preventive, and safety-creating measures. We have over 2,700 employees, including 90 managers, who together develop the operations through professionalism, commitment, and learning!

We are now looking for 3 nursing assistants for Dalsjövägen, 2 permanent positions and one temporary position.

The care and nursing home Dalsjövägen 25 consists of 73 apartments distributed over four floors. There is a somatic department with 33 apartments and 40 apartments focused on dementia. The recruitment need is in the somatic department, but we work throughout the building.

Dalsjövägen 25 has several outdoor environments planned with seating areas, walking paths, a petanque court, a chicken coop, and a pond. The idea is to create a residence that invites outdoor activities in harmony with nature. Here, men and women from different backgrounds work together, enriching our operations and broadening our competence. All different professional categories work together to promote a good working climate where everyone can thrive. We create conditions for activity and inviting environments both indoors and outdoors. Our goal is to ensure that those living at Dalsjövägen 25 have the opportunity to feel involved in their daily activities, feel comfortable, and experience safety. The goals of the Care and Elderly Administration are based on the Social Services Act and the national value base that "Everyone has the right to live a dignified life and feel well-being".

The work includes service tasks such as cleaning and laundry, care tasks such as personal hygiene, delegated tasks from the nurse such as medication administration, and documentation according to legal requirements.

The work requires a high level of commitment and active participation in developing and improving the operations. You have a positive attitude and see opportunities together with your colleagues. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including holidays.

You are a trained nursing assistant with a degree from the Health and Care Program or have equivalent education or experience deemed equivalent. The work requires that you can speak and write in Swedish. Our operational systems are a prerequisite for us to fulfill our mission, and you therefore need to have basic digital competence.

To provide good and safe care and support, a good approach is crucial, as is your interest in working with people. It is important that you are responsible and engaged. You also have the ability to understand other people's situations and are attentive to individual needs. Furthermore, you have a good ability to collaborate, create, and maintain good relationships with both users and relatives as well as colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The work involves working hours and schedules when bus connections to Dalsjöfors are limited. Therefore, it is necessary that you can ensure that you can get to and from work in a way that works without problems according to the applicable working hours.
