About the job

Our nursing assistants are an important part of our operations. Your tasks will vary between:

• Sample collection work in the laboratory.
• Assisting with medical treatments and examinations at the doctor's office.
• Administrative tasks related to the care flow.

We are a well-functioning health center that offers care, health, and medical services with a focus on the needs of the patient. Here, we value close collaborations, a good atmosphere, and a work environment where we help and support each other. The work is varied as you will meet both children and the elderly. It is important that you have a very good approach that creates security for our patients.

The position being advertised is a part-time temporary position of 50-80% with immediate start, until 2026-09-19. The temporary position may be extended. Hourly employment may also be relevant.

About the workplace

Vårdcentralen Åsa has about 7,500 residents who have now chosen to register with us. There are good commuting opportunities via Åsa station from both the North and the South. We have the necessary clinics to provide good and close care. In addition to the doctor's office, we have a large laboratory, rehabilitation, child health care, asthma/COPD, diabetes, and psychosocial care.

We are a motivated workgroup of about 25 people, all contributing to optimizing the health center's offerings based on patient needs and our ability to provide good and safe care. The workgroup places great focus on continuous improvements and collaboration across boundaries to deliver the best care for our residents. With us, you will find a present and supportive leadership, where the focus is on participation and trust in the processes that lead the organization forward towards our goals and satisfied patients.

Working hours will be scheduled during the day between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

About you

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with an interest in primary care. Experience in primary care or outpatient work is a requirement. To thrive with us, you should have a well-developed ability to collaborate. The foundation for good collaboration is communication and the ability to constructively contribute to solving the challenges and priorities we face every day. Additionally, you need to be confident in your professional role, responsible, and solution-focused.

You should believe that you can contribute and make a difference, together with us at Åsa health center. We currently work in the VAS journal system but will switch to Cosmic in the spring of 2025. Experience with either of these systems is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
