Job Information

Kurres Bil & Rep was founded in 1991 and has since built a strong trust with its customers through personal service and high quality. The workshop is located in Ersboda, Umeå, and is an approved car workshop affiliated with Autoexperten.

Here, we offer service and repairs for all car brands. The team currently consists of five people, where community, freedom with responsibility, and flat decision-making paths are an obvious part of everyday life – every employee is important and works with significant freedom under responsibility. To give you the best possible start, we offer a safe and structured introduction where you will get to know both the company, work methods, and your role in a good way, with support from experienced colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of car mechanic, you will work broadly with:

• Service and maintenance on all car brands
• Timing belt replacements
• Brakes and suspension
• AC service (certification is a plus)
• Tire service
• Repairs from minor tasks to larger jobs
• Company cars, trade-ins, and some damage-related repairs

Here, you will have the opportunity to work practically and independently – with support from colleagues when needed. It is a workshop where everyone helps each other, and your experience is truly valued.

You will work comfortable hours Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience as a car mechanic
• Has a B driver's license
• Speaks and writes Swedish
• Thrives in a smaller team where shared responsibility is taken
• Wants freedom with responsibility and appreciates short decision-making paths

It is a plus if you have certification in AC and/or experience with hybrid cars – but the most important thing is your professional skills and attitude.

You are a person who wants to contribute, take responsibility, and be part of something long-term. There is room for both those with extensive experience and those who are younger but eager to develop. We warmly welcome your application!
