Job Description

As a service technician with us, you will have a varied and independent role where you are responsible for the preventive maintenance of our machinery, as well as solving urgent problems that arise. You will work systematically according to a maintenance schedule and plan and prioritize much of your work yourself.

You will have your fixed point in our small workshop where you will have the opportunity to create your own structure among equipment, tools, and accessories. We work in the maintenance system Mainter where operators report faults directly in the system, and you receive the case on your mobile – quickly and easily.

Your role also includes having an overview of spare parts, placing orders, and maintaining contact with suppliers. When necessary, you will collaborate with external experts who have specialist knowledge about the machines, and you will assist and learn from them when they are on-site. Basic property maintenance may also be included in the position.

Qualifications

To fit this role, we prefer that you have:

• Previous experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of pneumatics, electricity, and mechanics
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing machines
• Welding skills
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form.

Meritorious:

• Forklift license and experience driving counterbalance forklifts
• Overhead crane license
• Scissor lift training
• Hot work certification

You are independent, responsible, and have a strong desire to develop. You are positive, cheerful, and see solutions to problems. You do not need to know everything from the start – we highly value the right attitude and commitment.

The position is full-time with access as soon as possible. Initially, you will be hired as a consultant through NearYou, but for the right person, there may be an opportunity to become directly employed by BEWI in the long term.
