Do you want to work in direct social work by supporting individuals with disabilities in their development? We are now looking for substitute work supervisors for daily activities in Lödöse. We offer training and several benefits.

Between weeks 26-34, we need help covering the regular staff's vacation. Before summer, we need you to support during short-term absences. Working hours are weekdays between 08:00-15:00.

About the role The work involves supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, autism, dementia, and neuropsychiatric disabilities in their development. At Nytida's daily activities, we have two main focuses; Health and Celebrations.

Based on this, our 25 participants engage in various creative activities to have a meaningful everyday life. A morning of gardening can be combined with a gym session and concluded with cleaning tasks and car washing. Each participant chooses tasks they wish to work on every six months, and staff support individual adaptations. Our goal is high participation and for the participants to help shape the activities to be the best. Participants in daily activities have a task description and an implementation plan that must be followed up according to IBIC. As staff, you follow work orders with assigned activities and tasks. Each work order has associated risk assessments, response plans, and activity descriptions. These create a whole for a safe and clear day, for all of us.

As we swim, bowl, and train every week, it is important that you enjoy a high level of activity and have a driver's license. Your creative side will facilitate work in the studio, and your humility will be tested during karaoke!

About you: - You see problems as opportunities, challenges, and improvements. - You can easily switch focus and tasks. - You are comfortable in care situations. - You are a brave, consistent, and secure adult. - You can create your own structure and take initiative. - You are positive when your colleagues give you feedback on your actions, for the individual's best.

Every day with us is unique, and the individuals in our activities come before the staff's own needs. In practice, this means that we, as staff, need to be humble about what we encounter in the unit and find security in our values. In our work group, we have a high work ethic and expect that you, as an applicant, want to be involved in our development moving forward. As a work group, we are proud of our activities and that we always have a close connection to laughter and fun!

You have a group leader close to you who spends part of their time working in the activities. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You have a high school education in care and welfare, for example as a nursing assistant. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in social work, such as a social worker, occupational therapist, or similar, as well as experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.

You have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people, are responsible, and have personal maturity. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our participants' best interests in mind in everything you do.

At Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
