We are looking for a nurse to work in the area of social psychiatry and LLS.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will meet patients in their home environment. By making several home visits each day, you will have the opportunity for a change of scenery. We conduct home visits in urban areas, rural settings, and in the archipelago.

Your responsibilities include meeting the healthcare needs of patients over time within LSS and social psychiatry in residences with special services and ordinary housing. Within LSS, the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons, we encounter individuals within the three target groups: intellectual disabilities, autism or autism spectrum disorders, and individuals with cognitive disabilities due to brain injury in adulthood.

The role of a nurse in home healthcare involves independently assessing, planning, organizing, and executing medical treatment and nursing interventions, as well as following up on the interventions you perform. The work ranges from simpler medical interventions to those requiring advanced medical equipment and technology. Care and treatment are carried out in collaboration with consulting physicians and other staff.

As a nurse, you will work in a team where various professionals collaborate around the patients. The teams include care staff, unit managers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses to provide a comprehensive view of the patients. The work also includes teaching and delegating to nursing staff.

As a nurse with us, you will have an independent role, providing you with great freedom in your work. Continuous development work is ongoing within the organization to improve conditions for our patients. You will have significant opportunities to participate in this work and contribute your thoughts and experiences. We have a training plan within the organization and offer opportunities for specialist training.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse who is passionate about working with LSS and social psychiatry. You must also have a B driver's license and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

You feel confident working independently and take responsibility for your work. We prefer candidates with previous experience in municipal healthcare or those who are specialized in a relevant area. Knowledge and work experience within LSS and social psychiatry are advantageous.

We welcome newly graduated nurses who, through engagement and innovative thinking, can help us develop the organization and are ready to take on the challenges within municipal healthcare.

You will plan your work independently, which means you need to be able to organize and prioritize your tasks.

You are a proactive and solution-focused person who is accustomed to prioritizing your tasks and is flexible to changes when the situation demands it. You have a good demeanor, contribute to a positive work environment, and find it easy to collaborate.
